The Confession Book
The Confession Book is a miniature podcast and written series built around one question at a time. Inspired by Victorian confession albums, the Proust Questionnaire, and even those Cosmo quizzes we passed around at sleepovers growing up. Each episode leans into honest, reflective conversation, heavy on heart, light on small talk.
Some questions come from Proust, others are adapted for the moment, but all invite curiosity and connection. At its core, this project isn’t about answers, but about attention, memory, meaning, and the slow unfolding of self through conversation.

Ep 01 with Meylin Lee Hernández
What is Your Idea of Perfect Happiness?
In the very first episode of The Confession Book, I sit down with my longtime friend and creative kindred, Meylin Lee Hernández, to ask the question: What is your idea of perfect happiness? Together we talk ideas of alignment, frequency, curiosity, and joy as a living, shifting practice. Read more here
Ep 02 with Kristen Wang
What Are You Learning to Let Go of?
In this episode, I'm joined by my friend and creative collaborator, Kristen Wang, to ask: What are you learning to let go of? Our conversation unfolds into reflections on transformation, release, and the quiet work of tuning in rather than striving. Kristen reminds us that letting go isn’t about adding more; it’s about peeling back the layers and allowing what’s already within us to emerge.

Ep 03 with Amador Hermosillo
What Has Changed You the Most in the Past Year?
This conversation with my friend and fellow coach, Amador Hermosillo, stayed with me long after we recorded. He speaks about ancestry, home, and the ways transformation often comes softly, through trust, and slowing down enough to notice. I'm reminded that change doesn’t always roar in; sometimes it unfolds like a quiet return to yourself.
Ep 04 with Shain Kish
What's a Product, Scent, or Object that Defined an Era of Your Life?
My conversation with Shain Kish; writer, makeup artist, and dear friend, is one that wanders through the scents and memories that define eras of our lives. Shain has a way of making beauty feel playful and approachable, and we get into the ways fragrance becomes a portal, carrying us back to old versions of ourselves while shaping the new.

Ep 05 with Lizsie Hsu
If Your 14-year-old Self Could See You Now, What Would They Think?
This conversation with Lizsie Hsu opened up so many reflections on growth, identity, and the ways we advocate for our younger selves through healing. What struck me most was Lizsie’s balance of vulnerability and lightness, and how she reminds me that showing up as we are; imperfect, real, in progress, can be its own form of peace.
Ep 06 with Pedro Abreu
What’s Something About You No One Would Guess from the Outside?
My conversation with Pedro; artist, photographer, father, and someone I first met during my Barneys days, opens up a side of him few would ever guess: his deep shyness. We talk about the ways perception and reality often clash, how divorce became a turning point in rediscovering himself, and the grounding joy he’s found in his bond with his daughter.
